Ipswich Town manager Gary O'Neil has told supporters that they really do act as the 12th man for his side.
Ipswich Town manager Gary O'Neil praised the club's supporters for acting as a 12th man and giving his squad a vital edge at Portman Road. Speaking in an interview alongside chairman Mark Ashton for TownTV, O'Neil stated that Ipswich would not have secured recent victories against Sunderland and Fulham without the crowd's backing.
Newly-promoted Ipswich Town currently sit 10th in the Premier League table after securing three wins from their opening seven fixtures, two of which featured decisive late goals at home. Ashton reiterated that home form will be crucial to the team's success ahead of their upcoming match against Nottingham Forest.
