Bradley Barcola challenged to ‘raise his level mentally’ to become £123m Liverpool success

Former France international Emmanuel Petit has challenged Liverpool forward Bradley Barcola to raise his mental level to establish himself at Anfield. The Reds signed the French international from Paris Saint-Germain in late August for £123m, making him the second most expensive signing in the club's history. Petit noted that while Barcola has shown promise, including a recent Champions League hat-trick against LASK, he must consistently fight to secure his starting role.

Petit explained that Barcola faces fierce competition in Liverpool's attack under head coach Andoni Iraola after losing his place at PSG. Barcola is expected to start for the Reds against Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday.
