The Penguins played perhaps their finest game of the season in a 4-0 win against the emotionally spent Panthers.

The Pittsburgh Penguins snapped a four-game losing streak by defeating the Florida Panthers 4-0 at PPG Paints Arena. Artūrs Šilovs stopped all 25 shots he faced to record a shutout, while Nick Robertson scored two goals and Evgeni Malkin and Hendrix Lapierre each scored once.
The victory came amid significant adversity for Pittsburgh, which followed an in-flight medical emergency involving Ben Kindel that forced an emergency landing earlier in the week. The team was also playing without injured regulars Bryan Rust, Sam Girard, and late scratch Egor Chinakhov.
