Jacobs will have only practiced twice this season before the Packers visit Detroit in a pivotal NFC North matchup.

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs practiced on Thursday for the first time this season, aiming to make his debut against the Detroit Lions. Jacobs spent the first six games of the season on the commissioner's exempt list following a misdemeanor battery conviction in September. Head coach Matt LaFleur indicated that Jacobs' availability for Sunday's NFC North matchup will depend on discussions and visual evaluations.
Quarterback Jordan Love suggested Jacobs would see action, stating the team will give him touches to get him rolling. Love also confirmed he will play despite dealing with lingering hits from the previous week, returning as a full participant in Thursday's practice alongside a Packers rushing attack currently ranked last in the league.
