Despite again criticising the bumps at the Circuit of the Americas, Max Verstappen feels he is in a good place heading into the USGP.

Red Bull driver Max Verstappen highlighted the challenge of finding a workable car setup due to the bumpy surface at the Circuit of the Americas during Friday practice for the United States Grand Prix. Despite the issues, Verstappen finished second in opening practice and third in the afternoon session.
Ferrari's Charles Leclerc set the benchmark time of 1:35.291 in FP2, finishing 0.189 seconds ahead of Verstappen. Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli split the two in second place. Verstappen acknowledged that while setup work remains, it was not a bad start to the race weekend.
