Shakur Stevenson’s Team Opens Talks With DAZN

Shakur Stevenson's team has opened exploratory discussions with DAZN as the boxer aims to return to the ring early next year. Manager Jay Prince confirmed the talks to Fight Hub TV, noting that conversations are ongoing with multiple parties after a split from Zuffa Boxing. Prince stated that Stevenson's departure from Zuffa was driven by an inability to deliver opponents rather than financial disputes.

Prince emphasized that negotiations had previously stalled due to failed attempts to secure a bout with Devin Haney. He claimed that Haney's father, Bill Haney, derailed the proposed fight by attempting to move it up to 147 pounds. Prince also dismissed rumors that Stevenson turned down a $7 million offer to face Rayo Valenzuela.
