Tyrell Sloan ‘makes decision’ on Castleford Tigers contract and 2027 move

Tyrell Sloan has fully committed to joining Castleford Tigers for the 2027 Super League season, according to Australian reports. Despite intense speculation suggesting the outside back might remain in Australia, The Daily Telegraph revealed that the paperwork for his move is progressing smoothly. Castleford previously maintained that they would demand a substantial transfer fee rather than release him from his contract.

Questions had arisen regarding Sloan's three-year permanent deal after the departure of Ryan Carr, who was instrumental in recruiting him alongside Dragons teammates Damien Cook and Mat Feagai. However, Sloan has maintained regular contact with Castleford's hierarchy, confirming he intends to honor his legally binding contract.
