Indian shuttler and IAS officer Suhas Yathiraj expressed disappointment after winning bronze at the Asian Para Games in Nagoya. Yathiraj was defeated in the men's singles SL4 semifinal by Indonesia's Fredy Setiawan with a score of 23-21, 8-21, 15-21, despite having beaten him earlier in group play.
The 43-year-old two-time Paralympic silver medalist remains focused on targeting gold at the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympics. Yathiraj outlined the rigorous discipline required to balance full-time administrative duties as an IAS officer with elite badminton training and strict dietary habits.
