2 ex-Arsenal defenders agree about Ezri Konsa

Former Arsenal defenders Steph Houghton and Martin Keown have praised summer signing Ezri Konsa for his impressive start at the club and his central defensive partnership with Gabriel Magalhaes. Speaking on Match of the Day, Houghton highlighted Konsa's confidence and form while stepping in for the injured William Saliba, describing his pairing with Gabriel as currently among the Premier League's best.

Keown agreed with the assessment, pointing out that Konsa has met high expectations and has avoided being overshadowed while filling in alongside Ballon d'Or-nominated defenders. The praise follows Arsenal recording their eighth clean sheet of the season ahead of an upcoming away match against Liverpool at Anfield.
