Newcastle United got back to winning ways in the Premier League with a much-needed 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Sunday afternoon.
Newcastle United manager Matthias Jaissle praised his team's second-half response following a 2-0 Premier League victory over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. After failing to record a shot on target during a sluggish opening half, Newcastle secured the win with early second-half goals from Will Osula and Harvey Barnes.
Jaissle noted that Newcastle improved significantly after the interval by adopting a more positive offensive mindset following ball recoveries. The manager also emphasized the importance of keeping a clean sheet after the team had conceded eight goals across their previous two away matches.
