AC Milan bounced back from a midweek defeat with a 2-0 away victory against Udinese in Serie A on Sunday night. Christian Pulisic opened the scoring in the sixth minute after finishing a pass from Luka Modric. In the second half, Omari Hutchinson scored on a rebound to secure his first goal for Milan and confirm all three points.
Manager Ruben Amorim made five changes to the lineup following their recent loss, handing Serie A starts to Hutchinson and Sankhoun Diawara. Milan controlled much of the contest, creating multiple chances through Davide Bartesaghi and Goncalo Ramos. The victory moved Milan into fourth place in the Serie A standings ahead of their upcoming fixture against Bologna.
