Mike Brown Drops Blunt Quote After Knicks Lose to Magic

New York Knicks head coach Mike Brown offered a blunt assessment of his squad following a 111-102 home defeat against the Orlando Magic on Sunday. Speaking to reporters after the game, Brown candidly stated that the team's play currently "stinks" and emphasized that only the players and coaching staff have the power to turn their fortunes around.

The loss dropped the defending champion Knicks to a 0-3 start following earlier defeats against the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers. Brown highlighted major concerns with the team's fourth-quarter defense after Orlando scored 40 points in the final period, adding that the squad appeared lethargic and must improve transition defense while increasing offensive pace.
