Phil Parkinson admitted Wrexham missed the clinical edge of injured forward Josh Windass at Blackburn Rovers but insists others must shoulder the responsibility while last season's top scorer remains sidelined.
Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson urged other players to step up in the absence of injured forward Josh Windass following a 2-0 Championship loss to Blackburn Rovers. Windass remains sidelined with an ankle injury, leaving the squad without their clinical edge as Andri Gudjohnsen scored twice for Blackburn at Ewood Park.
Despite recording 23 shot attempts, Wrexham managed only a single effort on target during the defeat, which dropped them to 17th in the Championship table. Parkinson emphasized that his team must become more ruthless in the final third while waiting for their top scorer to return.
