A Maple Leafs trade pitch would bring $50 million Flyers defenseman Travis Sanheim to Toronto for a package of players and draft picks.

A trade proposal published via PuckPedia's PuckGM simulator suggests the Toronto Maple Leafs acquire Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Travis Sanheim. Under the pitched trade scenario, Toronto would receive the 30-year-old blueliner in exchange for veteran defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson, prospects Ben Danford and Noah Chadwick, and two 2027 draft picks.
The proposal aims to address Toronto's blue-line depth following Chris Tanev's placement on injured reserve. Sanheim is currently playing under an eight-year, $50 million contract carrying a $6.25 million annual cap hit and holds a full no-trade clause through the 2026-27 NHL season.
