Kirill Marchenko was injured for the Toronto Maple Leafs, a lower-body injury that will ensure he does not return to the game.

Toronto Maple Leafs forward Kirill Marchenko left Monday's game after suffering a lower-body injury. According to the Maple Leafs PR department, Marchenko will not return to the contest following an awkward fall where his leg appeared to bend beneath him.
Marchenko initially attempted to continue playing after sitting on the bench, but he quickly left his final shift for the dressing room while stretching his left lower leg. Prior to the injury, Marchenko had recorded 14 points in his first 14 games with Toronto.
