Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane paid tribute to former club Tottenham Hotspur during his acceptance speech after winning the 70th Ballon d'Or at the London Palladium. The 33-year-old became the first English winner of the prestigious award in 25 years after scoring 73 goals for club and country in the 2025-26 season, beating Kylian Mbappe and Lamine Yamal to the trophy.
Speaking on stage, Kane thanked Tottenham's coaches and staff, stating he would not be where he is today without the club he joined at age 11. Kane, who scored 280 goals in 435 games for Spurs before his move to Bayern, also expressed gratitude to his family, Bayern Munich, and England.
