South Africa captain Laura Wolvaardt has reclaimed the No. 1 ranking among batters in women's ODIs, overtaking India captain Smriti Mandhana. Mandhana dropped to second place following low scores of 32 and 0 in the opening two ODIs against Zimbabwe in Vadodara. This marks the ninth time Wolvaardt has reached the summit of the ICC women's ODI batting rankings.
Several other Indian players made significant strides, notably Deepti Sharma, who gained ground across batting, bowling, and all-rounder rankings after hitting 106 and claiming five wickets. Pratika Rawal reached a career-best 21st among ODI batters following a century, while Harmanpreet Kaur rose to eighth.
