Liverpool simply won't give up on an outrageous transfer. They're pushing for a truly historic deal - one unseen possibly ever.
According to Football Insider, Liverpool remain interested in signing Everton centre-back Jarrad Branthwaite on a permanent transfer. Writer Alex Caple highlights that Liverpool are actively seeking defensive reinforcements with Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez facing expiring contracts, alongside loan defender Ronald Araujo's expected return to Barcelona.
However, Caple argues a deal is virtually impossible because Everton historically refuse to sell key players to their local rivals. Manchester United are also cited as contenders for Branthwaite, with Caple noting Everton would likely prefer selling to them instead.
