Effort. Communication. Cohesion. Name it, and the Nets have been lacking.

Brian Lewis of the New York Post writes that the winless Brooklyn Nets are facing severe defensive struggles early in their campaign. Heading into their matchup against Boston on Tuesday, the team has reportedly demonstrated major shortcomings in defensive effort, communication, and overall cohesion across their opening games.
Lewis argues that the Nets' defensive deficiencies stem heavily from personnel issues that appear set to pose challenges throughout the entire season. Although acknowledging that the current sample size remains relatively small, the analysis highlights these structural and execution problems as critical concerns for the franchise moving forward.
