Lakers forward Ziaire Williams responded to his $2,000 NBA fine with a candid message about what he's willing to do to win.

Los Angeles Lakers forward Ziaire Williams responded defiantly after receiving a $2,000 fine from the NBA for flopping during Sunday's 132-123 win against the Utah Jazz. Speaking at a Tuesday shootaround, Williams confirmed he would pay the fine but stated he would flop again if necessary to secure a victory for his team.
The penalty stemmed from a fourth-quarter play involving Jazz guard Keyonte George that drew an offensive foul. The NBA has prioritized eliminating flopping during the 2026-27 season through in-game technical fouls and postgame fines.
