Pablo López, Marvin Miller Man of the Year nominee, aims for return to Twins rotation in 2027

Minnesota Twins pitcher Pablo López is targeting a return for the 2027 season after missing all of 2026 following Tommy John surgery. López is also a finalist for the MLBPA Marvin Miller Man of the Year award alongside Nico Hoerner and Chris Bassitt. Twins general manager Jeremy Zoll noted that López is expected to start mound work in late November and be fully ready for the upcoming campaign.

Despite his injury, López remained heavily engaged with the Twins all season, assisting coaches and working as a broadcast analyst. In other team news, reliever Jeff Hoffman will be shut down for eight weeks following arthroscopic elbow surgery performed by Dr. Jeffrey Dugas, though he is expected to be ready for next season.
