The Toronto Maple Leafs could be looking to land a defenseman, but it doesn't look like it will involve Morgan Rielly…

The Toronto Maple Leafs are not expected to use defenseman Morgan Rielly as a trade chip at this time, according to Nestor Quixtan. A predictive analysis model cited by Heavy suggests that while Toronto has an estimated 25% chance of making a defensive trade within seven days, Rielly will not be part of any immediate deal.
Quixtan notes that Rielly's strong form and Chris Tanev's absence have increased the 32-year-old blueliner's value to the team. Rielly has recorded 10 assists in his first 14 games while averaging just under 20 minutes of ice time per night.
