Sergio Perez will remain with Cadillac until 2029 after signing a multi-year contract extension.

Sergio Perez has signed a multi-year contract extension with Cadillac that will keep him with the American Formula One team through 2029. The announcement comes as the 36-year-old prepares for his 300th Grand Prix start at his home race in Mexico City. Perez initially joined the team ahead of its debut season, partnering alongside veteran driver Valtteri Bottas.
Perez, who previously won six races across stints with Racing Point and Red Bull, currently sits at the bottom of the 2026 drivers' standings. Neither he nor Bottas has scored a point for Cadillac this season, with Perez recording three 14th-place finishes as his best results.
