Sydney Thunder captain Phoebe Litchfield has expressed strong confidence ahead of her third season leading the team in WBBL|12. The 21-year-old stated she has overcome lingering imposter syndrome as the Thunder prepare to open their campaign against the Melbourne Renegades. Litchfield also confirmed she is fully fit after overcoming a recent hip injury.
The Thunder have strengthened their squad following a seventh-place finish last season, adding England pace bowler Lauren Bell, South African allrounder Nadine de Klerk, and Nicola Hancock. Hannah Darlington also returns from a serious leg injury, bolstering a roster that features Heather Knight and Laura Harris.
