Liverpool have received an official warning from UEFA for failing to meet minimum medical requirements during a UEFA Youth League match against Atletico Madrid. The under-19s encounter took place on September 9 at the Kirkby Academy and finished in a 2-2 draw. The sanction was detailed in the formal decisions published by UEFA's Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Board.
The infringement falls under Article 14 of the UEFA Medical Regulations, which mandates the presence of a fully equipped ambulance and specific medical gear. Because the match proceeded as scheduled, the breach is believed to be minor. Liverpool's youth side, managed by Rob Page, currently sits 14th in the competition standings.
