Harry Kane was crowned the world's best footballer after winning the 2026 Ballon d'Or at a ceremony in London. The 33-year-old Bayern Munich and England striker claimed the accolade following his strong form for both club and country.
Kane becomes the latest English player to win the honor, following in the footsteps of Kevin Keegan, who also won the award while playing in Germany for Hamburg in 1978 and 1979. He joins a select list of English winners that includes Stanley Matthews, Bobby Charlton, Keegan, and Michael Owen.
