Ja Morant's injury against Memphis raises fresh concerns for Portland's season.

Portland Trail Blazers guard Ja Morant will miss at least four weeks after suffering a Grade 2 left hamstring strain against the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday. ESPN reporter Shams Charania revealed the diagnosis on Friday, Oct. 30, following an MRI after Morant left the game in the fourth quarter. Portland head coach Micah Nori confirmed that Morant felt a twinge before leaving the court at Moda Center.
Morant recorded 14 points and three assists in 23 minutes before his exit in the 124-103 loss to Memphis. Through his first four appearances for Portland, Morant averaged 15.8 points and 5.5 assists as the team started the season 3-1. The Trail Blazers plan to re-evaluate Morant's recovery progress in four weeks before determining his return.
