The St. Louis Blues have recalled defenseman Theo Lindstein from the AHL's Springfield Thunderbirds to add depth ahead of their upcoming four-game road trip. Lindstein previously made four appearances with the Blues this season before being sent down, where he subsequently recorded a goal and an assist in two AHL games.
Lindstein's promotion comes as veteran defenseman Colton Parayko deals with an upper-body injury that left him questionable for Saturday's game against the Detroit Red Wings, according to head coach Jim Montgomery. St. Louis is also carrying rookie Quinton Burns as another defensive option for the road trip.
