Derek McInnes knows there is room for improvement as he steers in-form Rangers to the Premier Sports Cup final with a 1-0 win over Aberdeen.

Rangers manager Derek McInnes guided his team to the Scottish League Cup final after Ryan Naderi scored an 83rd-minute winner against Aberdeen at Hampden Park. Despite the victory extending Rangers' unbeaten run to 11 matches, McInnes demanded improved performances and sharper decision-making from his squad ahead of December's final.
Rangers dominated the semi-final with 74% possession and 25 shots, but registered only five on target. McInnes highlighted the ongoing need to provide higher-quality service to Naderi, who has scored eight goals this season while filling in for injured forwards Lawrence Shankland and Youssef Chermiti.
