The Story in 60 Seconds

Stormers director of rugby John Dobson plans to contact Springboks team manager Charles Wessels regarding player availability for their clash against the Sharks on December 5. The Stormers had 11 players called up for South Africa's Nations Championship tour in Europe, which includes uncapped players Markus Muller, Riley Norton, and Yaqeen Ahmed.

Dobson intends to plan without the international players initially, but hopes non-playing squad members might be released after training to feature in Durban. Following a 33-7 win against Ulster, the Stormers face an intensive schedule including an Investec Champions Cup match against Bordeaux Begles and derbies against the Lions and Bulls.
