Newcastle United are now readying a bid for Galatasaray star Gabriel Sara.
Newcastle United are reportedly preparing an official bid of around £25m to sign Galatasaray midfielder Gabriel Sara. However, the Turkish club is holding out for a permanent transfer fee of €40m (£33m) amid widespread European interest. Everton, Napoli, and AS Roma are also monitoring the Brazilian midfielder, who has made 15 Champions League appearances over the past two seasons.
Dominic Lund of Football FanCast questions whether Newcastle should prioritize Sara, noting the club already possesses significant depth in central midfield. The report suggests signing a striker may be a more urgent need under manager Matthias Jaissle, as forwards William Osula, Yoane Wissa, and Matias Fernandez-Pardo have combined for only two Premier League goals this season.
