Another Flyers prospect walks the plank.

The Philadelphia Flyers have reassigned 22-year-old forward Alex Bump to the AHL's Lehigh Valley Phantoms. Bump was recalled on October 19 along with Cole Knuble to help offset team injuries and early-season struggles. However, Bump went scoreless across seven total NHL appearances this season, failing to register a goal or an assist while logging 16 shots on goal.
Bump now returns to the Phantoms alongside defenseman Hunter McDonald to reinforce Lehigh Valley's lineup. In contrast to his NHL struggles, Bump has excelled in the AHL this season, scoring seven goals and eight points in five games. The Flyers continue their schedule hosting the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday.
