In the game between the Vegas Golden Knights and the Boston Bruins, Braeden Bowman’s night ended early.

Vegas Golden Knights forward Braeden Bowman was ejected during Monday night's game against the Boston Bruins after delivering an elbow to the head of Matthew Poitras. The hit occurred in the first period, resulting in a five-minute major penalty that was upheld upon review, along with an automatic game misconduct.
Poitras suffered facial bleeding from the hit and went to the locker room before returning later in the period wearing a full bubble shield. Boston capitalized on the ensuing major power play, with Morgan Geekie scoring to extend the Bruins' lead to 2-0.
