Chelsea and Liverpool have both registered their interest in signing Brentford full-back El Hadji Malick Diouf next summer. According to Senegalese outlet D Sports, both Premier League clubs have made contact with the 21-year-old Senegal international's agent regarding a potential permanent move, setting up a possible transfer battle ahead of next season.
Diouf joined Brentford from West Ham United for around €47 million and remains under contract until 2031 with an option for an additional year. Despite making only one Premier League start this season under manager Keith Andrews, the defender is viewed as an appealing prospect, though any transfer fee would reportedly need to exceed Brentford's initial investment.
