€25m gets player for Newcastle United – Magpies welcomed as destination

Strasbourg winger Gessime Yassine could be available for a permanent transfer next summer for an asking price of around €25 million, with Newcastle United among the interested clubs. According to a report from Africa Foot, the French Ligue 1 side does not intend to sell the 20-year-old during the January transfer window but is prepared to negotiate a sale at the end of the season.

Yassine, who is under contract through 2030, has registered four goals and four assists in nine league matches this season. Former Morocco international Salaheddine Bassir publicly advised Yassine to consider joining clubs like Newcastle or Brighton over Chelsea, citing better playing time and tactical development.
