Eli Willits got rave reviews and Samil Serrano’s stock exploded in Baseball America’s top 10 ranking of Nats prospects…

Baseball America ranked 18-year-old outfielder Samil Serrano as the Washington Nationals' fifth-best prospect in its latest system update. Serrano, who signed for $1.97 million as the club's top international addition, climbed ahead of higher-profile prospects such as Devin Fitz-Gerald and Chris Hacopian after an impressive Dominican Summer League campaign.
Serrano batted .310 with a .968 OPS and walked more than he struck out across 48 games in the Dominican Summer League. The author notes that Serrano matched top prospect Jesus Made as the only Statcast-era DSL hitters to rank in the 90th percentile for contact rate, chase rate, and 90th percentile exit velocity.
