“It’s a truly special place to work”
First-team coach Pete Shuttleworth has departed Sheffield Wednesday with immediate effect following the appointment of new manager Dave Challinor. Shuttleworth expressed disappointment over his exit coming sooner than expected but shared pride in his time at the club, calling it a special place to work.
Challinor brought in Clint Hill and Anthony Sweeney as new coaches, while Matt Hamshaw remains in the first-team setup. Players including Liam Cooper, Jamal Lowe, and Max Lowe sent messages of appreciation, and sporting director Simon Wilson thanked Shuttleworth for his dedication during a period of transition.
