New Zealand opener Devon Conway has been ruled out of the rest of the five-match ODI series against India after sustaining a concussion. Conway suffered the injury during a fielding drill at training on Tuesday. Batter Nick Kelly, originally selected for only the final two fixtures, will now join the squad in Wellington on Friday as Conway's replacement.
Pacer Matt Henry was also involved in the training mishap but has been cleared of concussion. The injury comes after New Zealand lost the opening match in Auckland, where India chased down a revised target of 143. The second ODI takes place at Sky Stadium in Wellington on Saturday.
