The 49ers have signed veteran wide receiver KhaDarel Hodge to their practice squad, adding a familiar face after his release earlier this season.

The San Francisco 49ers have signed wide receiver KhaDarel Hodge to their practice squad. The team previously released Hodge with an injury settlement on October 1, but he has now returned after recovering from his injury. Hodge fills the open roster spot created when defensive tackle Naquan Jones signed with the Houston Texans.
Hodge, a nine-year NFL veteran, appeared in three games for San Francisco earlier in 2026, catching one pass for 18 yards. Over his career across five franchises, the 31-year-old receiver has recorded 68 receptions for 1,044 yards and two touchdowns in 121 regular-season appearances.
