Marcel Siem has withdrawn from the Final Stage of DP World Tour Qualifying School due to an ongoing back injury. The 46-year-old German golfer announced the decision ahead of the six-round event in Spain, revealing he has suffered from persistent pain since the 2025 Irish Open. Siem acknowledged that his physical condition prevented him from competing effectively.
Siem experienced a difficult campaign, ending the season ranked 137th on the Race to Dubai after making just 12 cuts in 26 events. The six-time DP World Tour champion plans to undergo a thorough rehabilitation and recovery process to prepare for an eventual return to professional tournament play.
