Baltimore will have a week and a half to prepare Brissett for a potential Week 10 start against the Los Angeles Chargers.
The Baltimore Ravens have completed a trade to acquire veteran quarterback Jacoby Brissett from the Arizona Cardinals following their loss on "Thursday Night Football." Baltimore moved quickly to finalize the deal after severe quarterback injuries left the depth chart depleted. Brissett is expected to make his debut for the Ravens in Week 10 against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Baltimore faced an urgent quarterback crisis after starter Lamar Jackson and backup Tyler Huntley suffered significant injuries, forcing third-string passer Joe Fagnano into action. Meanwhile, Arizona turned to backup Gardner Minshew after benching Brissett, clearing the way for the trade. The Cardinals also restructured Brissett's contract prior to the trade, reportedly leaving Baltimore responsible for approximately $2.7 million.
