Manchester United are targeting a new left-back in January, with Archie Brown emerging as the latest target with Liverpool also in the race.

Manchester United and Liverpool are reportedly monitoring Fenerbahce left-back Archie Brown ahead of the upcoming January transfer window. United are looking for defensive reinforcements due to Luke Shaw's ongoing injury problems, while Liverpool ramped up their interest after the 24-year-old scored and assisted against them in a 3-2 victory in Istanbul.
Brown, who is contracted until 2028, has reportedly attracted interest from Chelsea, Newcastle United, Brighton, and AC Milan. The Turkish club previously valued the English defender at £17 million for a permanent transfer, though that asking price is expected to rise amid strong interest.
