Charles Leclerc believes Ferrari has "plenty to work on" as the team tries to find performance after Friday practice ahead of the Sao Paulo Grand Prix.

Charles Leclerc stated that Ferrari have plenty to work on after struggling for pace during Friday practice at the Sao Paulo Grand Prix. Having sat out Free Practice 1 for rookie Dino Beganovic, Leclerc finished seventh in FP2, trailing pace-setter Kimi Antonelli by seven tenths of a second. Leclerc described the session as having one of the worst car feelings he experienced all year, noting that significant car changes are planned ahead of the weekend.
Leclerc arrived late in Brazil following the birth of his first child, daughter Bianca, with his wife Alex in Monaco. He also confirmed that he and teammate Lewis Hamilton cleared the air in Brazil following their intra-team battle at the Mexico City Grand Prix, with Team Principal Fred Vasseur also addressing the situation.
