San Jose Sharks general manager Mike Grier is reportedly not contemplating a coaching change regarding head coach Ryan Warsofsky. According to TSN hockey insider Pierre LeBrun, Warsofsky is not on the hot seat despite the team's difficult start and struggles on both ends of the ice.
After opening the season with a 6-4-1 record, San Jose has lost five of its last six contests, including a 7-2 loss to the Los Angeles Kings. That defeat led to a players-only meeting, after which forward Kiefer Sherwood stated that the team's struggles were not on the coaching staff.
