The Story in 60 Seconds

The NFL issued multiple fines following the Week 8 matchup between the Cincinnati Bengals and Tennessee Titans. Titans cornerback Alontae Taylor received a substantial $23,882 fine for impermissible use of the helmet on Bengals running back Chase Brown during the fourth quarter. Although game officials missed the infraction during real-time play, the league sanctioned Taylor post-game with the maximum standard fine for a first-time offense of that nature.

Bengals safety Russ Yeast was also fined $6,361 for an unflagged face mask violation during a third-quarter kickoff return. Meanwhile, the league opted not to discipline Bengals linebacker Joe Giles-Harris, who had been penalized during the game for a face mask infraction.
