The rivalry between Tyrese Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers and the New York Knicks has been one of the spicier ones the league has seen in recent years.
Tyrese Haliburton addressed the New York Knicks winning the NBA championship against the San Antonio Spurs during an appearance on "Boardroom Talks." The Indiana Pacers All-Star admitted that despite being friends with several Knicks players, he turned off the television during their Finals celebration rather than watching the postgame ceremonies.
Haliburton missed the entire campaign recovering from an Achilles tear sustained in Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals. Prior to his injury, the Pacers had eliminated the rival Knicks in consecutive postseasons, and the guard is now set to return to action.
