Winnipeg head coach Scott Arniel expressed concern over a missed slapshot by defenceman Dylan Samberg that led to the deciding odd-man rush. Earlier in the game, Jets forward Alex Iafallo scored against Oilers goaltender Devon Levi, while Dom DiVincentiis tended goal for Winnipeg.
