In a separate investigation, Bielik has been charged with misconduct by the Football Association.

Cardiff City player Krystian Bielik and a Portsmouth supporter have reached an out-of-court resolution following a police investigation into an alleged assault. The incident occurred on September 5, 2026, during a Championship fixture at Fratton Park. Hampshire Police confirmed the investigation is now closed after Bielik provided an apology as part of the agreement.
Despite the police case closing, Bielik has been charged with misconduct by the Football Association regarding the 71st-minute confrontation. Video footage from the match appeared to show Bielik grabbing a fan while trying to retrieve a ball. The player has until September 25 to respond to the FA charge.
