Tyrese Haliburton makes a painful admission about the Knicks’ title win

Indiana Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburton admitted it was difficult to watch the New York Knicks win the NBA championship while recovering from a torn Achilles. Haliburton missed the entire 2025-26 season after suffering the injury in Game 7 of the 2025 Finals. Speaking on the Boardroom Podcast with Speedy, he shared that his initial reaction was to turn off the television broadcast before choosing to watch the celebrations.

Despite the intense rivalry between Indiana and New York, Haliburton noted his personal respect for Knicks players such as Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart, and Karl-Anthony Towns. Haliburton stated he believes a healthy Pacers team would have defeated New York. Now recovered, Haliburton is set to return to the court against the New Orleans Pelicans on October 21.
