Jake McCabe, Tavares, Roslovic, Zack MacEwen, Morgan Rielly, and Matthews all scored for the Maple Leafs. Ottawa goaltender Leevi Meriläinen allowed six goals before Jackson Parsons replaced him in the third period. The loss was part of a split-squad sweep for Toronto, as their other group defeated Ottawa 4-2.
